DESCRIPTOR: Honors Indicator

DEFINITION: Indicates whether an undergraduate is in the South Carolina Honors College.

VALUES:

A = Accepted (Honors College)

C = Carolina Scholar Candidate N/O SCC

D = USC Scholarship offer SCC

F = Application received too late for consideration

I = Interview scheduled

J = Carolina Scholar-not accepted

K = Transfer from other college

L = Transfer from USC

M = Deny transfer from other college

N = Rejected after application/interview

O = Offered application - no response

P = Denied transfer from USC-internal

R = Rejected after interview

S = Rejected - scores

T = Rejected - rank and scores

U = Accepted SCC/Scholar Recipient (Honors College)

W = Rejected after being wait listed

X = Accepted after interview process (Honors College)


All other students fall into the 'Not offered/Not applied' category. Please note that 'A', 'U', and 'X' are all 'Accepted' and should all be counted as being in the South Carolina Honors College.
